Las Flores is a unique master planned neighborhood in Rancho Santa Margarita, California that is a census-designated place (CDP). This unincorporated community shares the RSM zip code and has a little over 6,000 residents.
Las Flores was built near the Antonia Parkway, and Oso Parkway intersection and is near Ladera Ranch and Mission Viejo. This community is comprised of single family homes and condos, most of which were built in the late 1990s. Residents enjoy the beautiful nature preserves which border Las Flores as well as the neighboring Tijeras Creek Golf Course. This is also where the RSM dog and skate park is located. This CDP is served by the Orange County Fire Authority and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The Las Flores condo subdivision is made up of 172 condos that were built by John Laing. Residents enjoy access to the community swimming pool, and heated spa. There are several floor plans ranging from 449 to 763 square feet of living space. The units offer zero to two bedrooms, one to two baths, and car port garages.
This community is served by the Capistrano Unified School District, and is the home of Las Flores Elementary and Las Flores Middle School. Students also attend Tesoro High School and there are several private schools in the region. Saddleback College, and the University of California, Irvine are also minutes away.
There are many stores, restaurants, and services close by as well as several shopping centers like El Paseo Plaza and Mercado Del Lago. There are also several parks in this region including O’Neill Regional Park, Arroyo Vista Park, and Mesa Linda Park. The local golf club offers a Ted Robinson designed course as well as dining and event facilities.
